LCSW, Care Coordinator
Rachel Ducote joined Hurley Elder Care Law in 2022. Rachel received her BS in Psychology with a minor in Social Work at Louisiana State University and her Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in Gerontology. She then pursued her License of Clinical Social Work in early 2022.
Rachel moved to Atlanta from New Orleans, where she worked at a CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) as the Social Services and Admissions Coordinator. She became passionate about working with this population from a young age. Rachel contributes her love for older adults to the immense amount of time she spent with and caring for her grandmother and great aunt.
Rachel has extensive experience with counseling families through the difficulties of the aging process and helping navigate the complexities of long-term care. She believes in the importance of maintaining the dignity and quality of life of all older adults and truly operates from this perspective in all that she does.
Rachel lives in Brookwood Hills with her fiancé Bailey and dog Peaches.
