A native of Cherokee County, Jennifer Ghorley joined Hurley Elder Care Law as an attorney in 2018. Jennifer graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.S. in Psychology. She attended Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama, where she earned her J.D., as well as her LL.M. in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

While in law school, Jennifer participated in the Mediation Clinic where she mediated civil cases in district courts working to facilitate the negotiations of adverse parties and help to settle disputes through alternative dispute resolution. Jennifer also participated in Faulkner Law’s Elder Law Clinic, gaining experience serving families in the community and igniting her passion for Elder Law.

Prior to joining Hurley Elder Care Law, Jennifer practiced at a small private firm in her hometown of Canton, Georgia, working as a law clerk and later as an associate attorney representing clients in the areas of criminal law and estate planning.

Jennifer lives in Canton with her husband. She is an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan and enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends in her free time.

Jennifer is the current Secretary of the Georgia Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
