Alexis McCoy joined Hurley Elder Care Law in 2024 as a Public Benefits Specialist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Tuskegee University, a Master of Science degree in Psychology at Capella University, and a Paralegal Certification at the University of Georgia. Alexis has worked as an ABD Medicaid Specialist and Senior SNAP Supervisor at the Department of Family and Children Services and a Government Benefits Paralegal for more than 10 years.

Alexis is a true Southern bell born in the Mississippi Delta and raised by an educator and entrepreneur. The loves of her life are her adorable nieces and her nephew. Alexis has lived in Georgia most of her life and enjoys doing volunteer services in the Atlanta area. It is her passion to help those who are not able to help themselves.
