Our 2023 update will examine the significant efforts undertaken by the State of Georgia legislature to address the mental health crisis in our state through the passage of the HB 1013 – The Mental Health Parity Act. Our 2023 update will take a deep dive into the features and benefits of this bill and its effect on healthcare providers. We will discuss the new Georgia Psychiatric Advance Directive as well as the transformative impact on Medicare and Medicaid through the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act by Congress.
