Joanna Hurley, of Hurley Elder Care Law,  will discuss “Dying in the 21st Century: A Modern Approach”.

In the United States, death at home in the care of family is a thing of the past. Today there is by an institutional, professional, and technological process of dying. Healthcare providers, regardless of their special areas of expertise, must be equipped to counsel patients and their families. This CE will examine how we approach dying including understanding hospice and palliative care. We will review new approaches like green burials and living funerals. We will also address 21st century post-death issues including your “digital estate”.
