A message from Hurley Elder Care Law regarding COVID-19

As the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, the health and well-being of our clients and staff is paramount at Hurley Elder Care Law.  We are committed to a safe environment and have the current measures in place to promote client and staff safety:

Sick employees are required to stay at home:

Employees with symptoms of acute respiratory illness may not come to work until they are free of fever (100.4° F [37.8° C] or greater using an oral thermometer), signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medicines.

Respiratory and hand washing etiquette:

As frequent visitors to senior care communities, our staff is intimately familiar with the appropriate protocol.  Hand sanitizer and tissues are available in all meeting spaces and work areas.

Routine Environmental Cleaning:

All meeting spaces are routinely sanitized between client visits including frequently touched surfaces, chairs, and doorknobs. All workstations are cleaned at the close of business each day.

Social Distancing:

The CDC defines social distancing as “remaining out of congregate settings, avoiding mass gatherings, and maintaining distance from others when possible.” At Hurley Elder Care Law our multiple conference rooms allow us to meet with our clients in a comfortable environment while maintaining the CDCs recommended distances.

Virtual Meetings:

Our current technology allows us to meet “virtually” with our clients who are unwell or who would prefer not to travel to our offices.

We are committed to serving our community and our clients as this rapidly moving situation unfolds.  Please be assured that our attorneys and staff are dedicated to working full-time through this crisis and are here to serve our clients and community partners.
